Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Tiro Translator - Travel AI (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
If you are located in the European Union, you also acknowledge that we act as a trader (as defined in the Digital Services Act) and the information in Section 10 applies.
2. Service Description
The App provides AI-powered translation services, including:
- Voice translation
- Camera / image translation (text extraction from pictures)
- AI Agent that helps you communicate with service staff (e.g., in restaurants, hotels)
- Voice cloning (optional): generates a personalized voice output from your voice sample
All services are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Paid Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal
Some features require a monthly or yearly subscription.
- Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID Settings (no refunds for unused periods).
- Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple - please contact Apple Support.
- Price changes: We will notify you of any price increase. Continued use means acceptance.
- Free trial: Automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
3. Age Restriction
You must be at least 16 years old (or higher if required by your country of residence) to use the App. If you are under 16, do not use the App without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
4. User Conduct & Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the App for:
- Translating or generating content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or violates any applicable laws.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the App.
- Using the App in any critical situation where a translation error could lead to death, personal injury, or substantial property damage (e.g., medical diagnosis, legal proceedings, aviation, or emergency services).
Voice Cloning Additional Restrictions
You must own or have explicit permission from the person whose voice is being cloned. You may not use voice cloning to impersonate another person without consent or for any deceptive or fraudulent purpose. We reserve the right to disable voice cloning for any user who violates this clause.
5. AI Accuracy Disclaimer (Important)
The App uses artificial intelligence (including third-party APIs and our own models).
- No warranty of correctness - AI can make mistakes. We do not guarantee that any translation, transcription, or generated reply is accurate, complete, or reliable.
- No liability for reliance - You use the App at your own risk. For important communications, verify with a human translator or official source.
- Not for high-stakes use - The App is not designed for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical translations.
For users in the European Union: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by applicable mandatory consumer protection laws.
6. Intellectual Property
- The App's code, design, and original content are owned by the Developer.
- Your content: You retain ownership of your input (text, images, voice recordings). However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that input solely to provide the requested service (translation, Agent conversation, or voice cloning). We do not use your content for any other purpose (e.g., training models) unless you give separate consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the App (including translation errors, data loss, or loss of profit).
- Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) or EUR 50 / RMB 200, whichever is lower.
Exception for EU users: The above limitations do not apply to claims of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury, nor do they reduce your statutory rights as a consumer under your local laws.
8. Third-Party Services
The App processes your data using our own AI server infrastructure (Amphion) and the Apple Speech Framework on your device. No external third-party AI service (such as Google, OpenAI, etc.) is used.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
10. Information for EU Users (DSA Trader Disclosure)
In compliance with the Digital Services Act (DSA), we provide the following trader information:

Online dispute resolution (ODR): EU consumers may use the European Commission's ODR platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, but we will make a good faith effort to resolve any disputes.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- For users outside China: These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore without regard to conflict of laws. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
- For users in China: These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall be submitted to the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (or your local people's court if you are a consumer).
Statutory rights unaffected: These Terms do not override mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes materially affect your rights, we will notify you via an in-app notice or on the App Store update description. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. 服务说明
本应用提供人工智能驱动的翻译服务，包括：

所有服务仅限个人、非商业用途使用。我们可能在合理通知后修改或停止部分功能。
付费订阅与自动续订
部分功能需要月度或年度订阅。
- 自动续订：除非在当前订阅期结束前至少 24 小时关闭自动续订，否则您的订阅将自动续订。您可以随时在 Apple ID 设置中取消（已使用的订阅期不予退款）。
- 退款：所有退款请求由 Apple 处理，请联系 Apple 支持。
- 价格变更：如订阅价格上涨，我们会提前通知您。价格变更后继续使用即表示您接受新价格。
- 免费试用：免费试用期结束后将自动转为付费订阅，除非您在试用期结束前取消。
3. 年龄限制
您必须年满 16 周岁（若您所在国家/地区法律要求更高年龄，则以更高为准）方可使用本应用。未满 16 周岁的用户，需在父母或监护人同意下使用。我们不会故意收集未满 16 周岁儿童的信息。
4. 用户行为与禁止用途
您同意不使用本应用用于以下目的：
- 翻译或生成违法、骚扰、诽谤、淫秽或违反任何适用法律的内容。
- 对本应用进行反向工程、反编译或试图提取源代码。
- 在可能导致死亡、人身伤害或重大财产损失的关键场景中使用本应用（例如医疗诊断、法律程序、航空或紧急服务）。
声音克隆附加限制
您必须拥有或被明确授权使用被克隆声音的本人同意。不得未经他人同意使用声音克隆冒充他人，也不得用于任何欺骗或欺诈目的。若用户违反本条款，我们保留禁用其声音克隆功能的权利。
5. AI 准确性免责声明（重要）
本应用使用人工智能（包括第三方 API 和我们自己的模型）。
- 不保证正确性 - AI 可能出错。我们不保证任何翻译、转录或生成回复的准确性、完整性或可靠性。
- 使用风险自负 - 您自行承担使用本应用的风险。对于重要沟通，请通过人工翻译或官方渠道核实。
- 不用于高风险场景 - 本应用不适用于医疗、法律、金融或安全关键型翻译。
对于欧盟用户：本条款中的任何内容均不排除或限制我们因自身过失、欺诈或任何适用强制性消费者保护法不可限制的其他责任而导致死亡或人身伤害的责任。
6. 知识产权
- 本应用的代码、设计和原创内容归开发者所有。
- 您的内容：您保留对您输入内容（文本、图片、语音记录）的所有权。同时，您授予我们一项有限的、非排他性的许可，仅用于处理该输入以提供您请求的服务（翻译、AI 助手对话或声音克隆）。除非您另行同意，否则我们不会将您的内容用于任何其他目的（例如训练模型）。
7. 责任限制
在适用法律允许的最大范围内：
- 开发者不对因您使用或无法使用本应用而产生的间接、附带或后果性损害承担责任（包括翻译错误、数据丢失或利润损失）。
- 我们的累计赔偿责任总额不超过您为本应用支付的费用（如有）或 50 欧元 / 200 元人民币，以较低者为准。
欧盟用户例外：上述限制不适用于重大过失、故意不当行为或人身伤害的索赔，也不减损您作为消费者在本地法律下的法定权利。
8. 第三方服务
本应用使用我们自己的 AI 服务器基础设施（Amphion）以及 Apple 设备端语音框架进行数据处理。我们不使用任何外部第三方 AI 服务（如 Google、OpenAI 等）。Amphion 由我们自主运营，不会将您的数据分享给任何其他公司。详情请参阅我们的隐私政策。
9. 终止
如果您违反本条款，我们可能会暂停或终止您的访问权限。您可以随时通过从设备中删除本应用来停止使用。
10. 欧盟用户信息（DSA 交易商披露）
根据《数字服务法》(DSA)，我们提供以下交易商信息：

11. 管辖法律与争议解决
- 对于中国境外用户：本条款受新加坡法律管辖，不适用其冲突法规定。争议应提交新加坡法院解决。
- 对于中国用户：本条款受中华人民共和国法律管辖。争议应提交深圳国际仲裁院。
法定权利不受影响：本条款不取代您居住地适用的强制性消费者保护法律。
12. 条款变更
我们可能不时更新本条款。如果变更对您的权利产生重大影响，我们将通过应用内通知或 App Store 更新说明告知您。通知后继续使用即表示接受修订后的条款。
